Mr Bagels Strengthens Team With New Product Development Manager
One of the UK's leading bagel producers, Mr Bagels, who provides frozen and ambient bagels to the retail and foodservice sectors, has strengthened its management team with the appointment of Irene Cheung as New Product Development Manager.
Reporting to Commercial Director, Reza Hajyzamanali at Mr Bagels' state-of-the art East London facility, Irene is responsible for developing innovative new products from concept to launch. She will also be focusing on the company's existing product range to ensure the quality and shelf life are maximised.
Prior to joining Mr Bagels, Irene Cheung worked at Unilever as R&D Technologist where she was responsible for researching and developing new ice cream formulations based on long term consumer trends. Whilst there, she also gained an MSc in Advanced Food Manufacturing.
Irene's career started at Allied Mills as a Development Technologist developing cake mixes and concentrates from bench scale to production.
