Mr Bagels operates from one of the largest and most modern bagel production facilities in Europe.

Our state-of-the-art bagel bakery opened in East London in 2003, allowing us to quadruple our production capabilities to 150 million bagels a year.

We have invested £3.5 million in our 45,000 square foot plant, installing the latest technology and equipment to produce the highest quality frozen and ambient bagels in the market place.

High food safety standards

Mr Bagels is committed to the highest standards of food safety and hygiene.

Cleanliness and quality control have always been our top priorities.

Mr Bagels' bakery has held Higher Level Approval from the leading inspection and certification company, EFSIS, since 2001.

It means we are well positioned to meet the stringent standards set by retailers and food service suppliers alike.

We also hold a Kosher certificate from the Saphardi Kashrut Authorities.

Investment for the future

Mr Bagels is also investing heavily in improving efficiency.

The latest £500,000 investment programme has seen new, state-of-the-art frozen and ambient packing lines added to the production process.

Together these automated lines can pack 65,000 bagels an hour.

They will put Mr Bagels on target to achieve its objective of selling 150 million bagels a year by 2006.
